On Saturday, September 3, 2011, Macy’s will host its 6th annual Shop for a Cause benefiting charities nationwide.

The $5 savings passes that offers 25% off most regular, sale and clearance purchases (exclusions and restrictions apply) at the store or online and a chance to win a $500 gift card, no store purchase necessary.

Macy's will donate 100% of the $5 cost of the savings pass to C.F.S.R.

Due to the inclement weather last week, Macy’s has extended its signature Shop for a Cause charity event for the states affected by Hurricane Irene to Saturday, September 3. Nearly 180 Macy's stores are participating in the following states CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, RI, VA, VT and select stores in NY, and PA.

Your donors and constituents who purchased a shopping pass valid for August 27, 2011, can use their pass in participating stores this Saturday and receive 25% off most regular, sale and clearance purchases all day. The pass will not be valid online.

Shop For A Cause is Macy's national charity shopping day that takes place in all stores nationwide and allows local non-profit organizations to raise funds. The day of the event, Macy's offers an exclusive discount and hosts special events, giveaways and entertainment.
